
BridgmanCollaborative Architecture offers an experienced planning and design team of industry professionals. The firm specializes in community planning, best practices for accessibility, LEED, building and building system restoration and heritage building conservation. BridgmanCollaborative believes in creating quality community places that provide access for all citizens, regardless of age or need.
The firm was formed in 1998 and is currently a thirteen person team led by Wins Bridgman with management support from Rae Bridgman, and Marcella Poirier. BridgmanCollaborative is located at 678 Main Street, in the former Dominion Bank building at the corner of Higgins and Main in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Principal Director Wins Bridgman is a registered architect in the Province of Manitoba and has practiced architecture for 28 years. He has been entrusted with Nationally, Provincially and Municipally Designated Historic sites including: the Manitoba Legislature Building, Don Valley Brick Works (Toronto, Ontario), Dalnavert Museum (Winnipeg Manitoba), the AA Heaps Building (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and the Manitoba Indigenous Culture and Education Centre (MICEC.) (Winnipeg, Manitoba).
BridgmanCollaborative has been the recipient of five Heritage Winnipeg awards and a Prairie design Award for Heritage Buildings in 2008. Two heritage projects have been awarded Federal Government granting through the CHIPF (Commercial Heritage Properties Incentive Fund) program.
