To enlist the best employees and bring down to a smaller extent the turnover in an interview, employers need effective interview techniques to recognize candidates who actuate the skills needed for successful job performance in doing their jobs. Handed down by tradition, interview questions don t necessarily make known the most direct related information about candidates. The description of the manner of behaving in interviewing and an associated approach called conditional interviewing, is a widely used technique for acquiring informations that is serving some purpose about candidate behaviors and characteristics with some relation to specific job skills.

A proposition supporting behavior description interviewing is that past actions are the best that indicates future behavior. The interviewer begins by identifying necessary job skills and then develops interview questions to assess the candidate’s ability to handle those jobs they would want to do as they do job search. The questions used in a behavior description interview are based on the identification of critical incidents. A critical individual occurrence is an actual past event or behavior that defines successful performances in jobs especially in the eyes of people with same legal status and supervisors. To be competent, the past event or behavior must be something that the peer or supervisor has observed or witnessed.

They need toknow the actual behaviors that demonstrates what a person is, for example, hard working. Is it because they have been observed putting in a lot of overtime? Is it because they are able to meet tight deadlines? Does it have to do with providing extra service to clients? These details are  important because they help identify the specific skills that are necessary for success in a given job.

As to smiling when being interviewed, well then, it is a fact that every person feels highly excitable at the time of interview. So there is nothing wrong, really nothing wrong with that, unless it’s like a sickness for you, that chilling is like habitual. It’s not bad  to make it sure that you smile and greet other people in office with a friendly nod. Your pleasant positive attitude will tell the employer that you are willing to do jobs in their organization no matter what would that be as long as it can be done by your skills and they will feel pleasure to work with you, too.

Interview for jobs is an important and tough time because job interview can make most experienced professional bewildered. Therefore it is important that you should be well prepared, relaxed and calm for interview. To the question, Should I smile during an Interview, would have an answer that’s something like this, you should keep smile on your face during interview because it will keep both you and your interviewer to be less burdensome.
